We are working on behalf of a leading automotive accident repair group with numerous sites nationwide, seeking to appoint a Bodyshop Manager at their busy Haverfordwest centre. The Bodyshop Manager will oversee all operational and technical functions, ensuring smooth workflow, compliance, and excellent customer service. Duties of a Bodyshop Manager:
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Bodyshop, maintaining high standards of repair quality and customer satisfaction
  • Support and develop a large team of technicians, support staff, and apprentices
  • Oversee workflow, ensuring productivity targets are met efficiently
  • Conduct daily production meetings and track progress
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
  • Maintain strong relationships with insurance companies, suppliers, and clients
  • Support troubleshooting, technical guidance, and training for team members
  • Monitor and control costs to meet profitability objectives
  • Ensure accurate estimations, vehicle assessments, and timely returns
Requirements of a Bodyshop Manager:
  • Proven experience as a Bodyshop Manager, or at assistant management, foreman, or VDA level, seeking advancement
  • Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
  • Methodical and detail-oriented work ethic
  • Full UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Knowledge of industry standards, health and safety protocols
  • Ability to motivate and develop a team effectively
  • Commercial awareness and ability to maximise productivity
