Bodyshop Technician

We are currently recruiting a Bodyshop Technician for a busy, franchise-approved accident repair centre in Glasgow. This role is Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with no Saturdays, offering a basic salary up to £36,000 and an OTE of approximately £40,000. You will be joining an established team with high operational efficiency.

Duties of a Bodyshop Technician:
  • Carry out accident repair work across vehicles, mainly insurance-based, with some retail work
  • Work within the Bodyshop Technician workflow to ensure completion to time and quality standards
  • Plan jobs and order parts to keep vehicles ready when promised
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge relevant to ongoing repair methods and procedures
  • Deliver exceptionally high customer service levels to support loyalty and referrals
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and orderly administration of your work
Requirements of a Bodyshop Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Bodyshop Technician, including background as a Panel Beater, Paint Sprayer, MET Fitter, or SMART Repairer
  • Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
  • Good communication and multi-tasking abilities
  • ATA advantageous, though not essential
  • NVQ Level 3 desirable; alternative long-term experience will be considered
  • Ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced, franchised environment
