HGV Service Advisor
Location: Heathrow
Salary: £32,000 basic + bonus
Working Hours: 42 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern:
  • 5:30am – 2:30pm
  • 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • 10:00am – 7:00pm
    Plus 1 in 3 Saturdays: 7:00am – 12:00pm
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HGV Service Advisor to join a busy commercial vehicle dealership in Heathrow. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service and organisational skills who thrives in a fast-paced workshop environment and enjoys being the key link between customers and the workshop.

HGV Service Advisor Role
  • Manage customer bookings and act as the main point of contact throughout the service process
  • Liaise with customers and technicians to provide updates on vehicle progress and repair requirements
  • Upsell additional repairs and workshop services where appropriate
  • Obtain authorisations, raise invoices, and maintain accurate service records
  • Schedule workshop jobs to maximise efficiency and utilisation
  • Order parts and arrange subcontract work when required
  • Follow up with customers after completion to ensure satisfaction
HGV Service Advisor Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor, ideally within HGV, commercial vehicles, or automotive
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and administrative ability
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Good technical understanding of vehicle servicing and repairs
  • Proactive team player with excellent attention to detail
