We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bodyshop Technician to join our client’s busy accident repair centre in Bristol. Duties of the Bodyshop Technician:
  • Undertake replacement and repair of damaged bodywork panels
  • Complete chassis and framework repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Welding and panel bonding as required
  • Bumper and door repairs
  • Mechanical and electrical repair work to high standards
  • Proven experience in replacing mechanical parts
  • Confidently strip and refit vehicle components
  • Assist with repairs involving electric vehicles (EV) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
  • Work efficiently under pressure, adhering to strict deadlines
  • Follow work instructions detailed on job cards, ensuring high-quality standards
  • Support team members and multi-task during busy periods
Requirements of the Bodyshop Technician:
  • Recognised qualification in automotive Panel Beating or Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim (MET) discipline preferred
  • Working towards an IMI qualification is desirable
  • individuals with extensive experience and no formal qualifications will also be considered
  • Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise workload
  • Valid UK driving licence with minimal points essential
  • Experience with EV and ADAS repair methods is advantageous
