Boiler Engineer

Shift PatternMonday to Friday Rotating Shifts:
- 5:00am – 2:00pm
- 1:00pm – 10:00pm
- 9:00pm – 6:00am
- Operate, monitor, and maintain steam boilers and associated plant equipment
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Ensure compliance with boiler safety regulations and statutory requirements
- Complete maintenance records and work orders through the CMMS system
- Support plant shutdowns, inspections, and improvement projects
- Monitor utility performance and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Follow Permit to Work procedures and site safety standards
- Previous experience as a Boiler Engineer, Steam Plant Engineer, Utilities Engineer, Boiler House Operator, or similar
- Strong knowledge of steam generation and boiler systems
- Mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of boiler compliance, safety standards, and statutory inspections
- BOAS qualification
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification
- Experience with water treatment and site utilities
- £50,000 salary
