Pure are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a growing business based in Sudbury on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of core finance processes while working within a supportive and collaborative team.
After an initial onboarding period (approximately one month in the office), hybrid working will be available.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing both sales and purchase ledgers
- Performing bank reconciliations on a regular basis
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring accuracy
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Supporting month-end processes
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Assisting with general bookkeeping and finance duties as required
- Previous experience in a Bookkeeping or Finance Assistant role
- Strong understanding of ledger management and reconciliations
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confident using accounting software and Excel
- Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
