Pyramid8 are looking for a Branch Administrator to join a small team based in Morley for a company who distributes into the construction industry.

This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, keeping things organised and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a busy branch. You’ll play an important role in providing excellent customer service while managing a range of administrative, stock and branch support duties.

As Branch Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing a consistently professional and friendly level of customer service.
  • Processing customer orders accurately using our computer systems.
  • Handling customer enquiries by telephone and email.
  • Completing general administration, including invoicing, credit notes and branch housekeeping.
  • Reviewing stock levels in line with company policies and supplier requirements.
  • Raising and chasing purchase orders and booking stock onto the system.
  • Handling cash, completing banking and preparing payment sheets for Head Office Accounts.
  • Supporting the Branch Manager and wider branch team with general office and warehouse duties.
  • Developing your knowledge of our product range so you can confidently assist and advise customers.
  • Preparing quotations and maintaining customer pricing on the system.
  • Serving customers professionally and efficiently at the trade counter, including processing paperwork and taking payments.
  • Occasionally assisting with picking and packing customer orders and ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and professional working environment.

They are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and customer-focused, with excellent attention to detail.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous administration or customer service experience.
  • Good IT and computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.
  • A professional and helpful approach to customers and colleagues.
  • Confidence handling payments and administrative paperwork.
  • A willingness to learn about our products and industry.
  • A flexible, team-focused attitude and a willingness to assist wherever required.

Experience within a trade counter, branch, warehouse, distribution or similar environment would be advantageous, but full product training will be provided.
