Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm) + 1 in 2 Saturdays according to rota (5 out of 6 working days per week)

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Branch Manager on behalf of our client based in Chandlers Ford. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding retail business with an excellent opportunity of career advancement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management, performance and profitability of the branch.
• Lead the team to achieve and exceed sales targets, KPIs and financial objectives.
• Drive new business opportunities whilst developing strong relationships with both new and existing customers and suppliers.
• Manage sales, margins and overheads to deliver best-in-class financial performance.
• Coach, develop, motivate and inspire colleagues to maximise individual and team performance.
• Create a positive, customer-focused culture that consistently delivers exceptional service.
• Build productive relationships with the wider business to maximise customer value and business growth.
• Ensure high standards of branch presentation, housekeeping, stock management and operational efficiency.
• Champion a strong health and safety culture, promoting colleague wellbeing and ensuring compliance with company standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous branch management, retail management or supervisory experience within a similar environment.
• Proven ability to lead, develop and inspire a successful team.
• Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business.
• A proactive, hands-on leader who takes ownership and delivers results with urgency.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage branch performance and profitability.
• Excellent customer service skills with a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Confident communicator with the ability to build lasting relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative and make informed decisions.
• Knowledge of the local area would be advantageous.
