The Role

As Branch Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the branch, ensuring operational efficiency, financial performance and exceptional customer service. You’ll lead and develop the team while identifying opportunities to grow revenue and strengthen existing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and develop the branch team to achieve operational and financial targets.
  • Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring efficient workflows and outstanding customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and contractors.
  • Manage quotations, project delivery and customer expectations from enquiry through to completion.
  • Oversee purchasing, logistics and stock control.
  • Monitor budgets, forecasting and KPI performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the region.
  • Recruit, coach and develop employees through regular performance reviews and training.

About You

You’ll be a confident leader with previous experience managing a branch, depot or service operation.

Essential

  • Previous branch, depot or operational management experience.
  • Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop successful teams.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

  • Experience within industrial, engineering, facilities management, construction or technical service environments.
  • Knowledge of service, installation or maintenance operations.
  • Experience using CRM or service management systems.
