Branch Sales Manager - Building Supplies

Our client are a leading Builders Merchants providing building supplies to a mixture of trade and retail customers.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a small branch in the North West London region.  This is a branch in need of a strong Sales Manager to help push the branch back into profitability after having been underperforming recently.  You will be managing a small team to help push the sales forward whilst also taking a very hands on and active role in generating sales for the branch.  Speaking with account customers to forge strong working relationships, but also calling lapsed accounts, low-spendinghands-on accounts, and canvassing for new business.

Due to the nature of the business, it is essential that the successful candidate has experience selling some form of building materials.  This could be from a Builders Merchants, Roofing Merchants, Drainage Merchants, Plumbers Merchants or similar, but sales and management experience within a merchant environment is required.
