Key Responsibilities
As Breakfast Chef, you'll take responsibility for delivering a high-quality breakfast service while maintaining excellent kitchen standards.
Prepare and serve high-quality plated breakfasts for approximately 50 guests
Take ownership of the breakfast service, ensuring dishes are delivered consistently and efficiently
Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering and stocktaking, and minimise food waste
Maintain excellent cleanliness and comply with HACCP and food safety regulations
Complete kitchen opening and closing checklists
Support the main kitchen with preparation, lunch and dinner service, or room service orders when required
Ensure all food is prepared and presented to an excellent standard
Work closely with the wider kitchen team to maintain smooth daily operations
What we're looking for
We're looking for a confident Chef who enjoys early mornings and can independently deliver a high-quality breakfast service.
Previous experience as a breakfast chef within a hotel environment
Confidence working independently and preparing plated breakfasts for around 50 guests
Strong organisational and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and pride in food presentation
A good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
The ability to manage time effectively during busy breakfast services
A flexible approach and willingness to support the wider kitchen team when needed
Experience as a Chef De Partie would be advantageous
