Bricklayer

Belmont Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Bricklayer to work with our client based in the South Tyneside area on a temporary basis. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The assignment is initially for six months.

Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out bricklaying, repair and maintenance work across various properties. The role will involve completing work to a high standard while ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.

Main Duties:

• Carry out bricklaying and masonry work
• Complete brickwork repairs and maintenance
• Prepare and repair surfaces as required
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with relevant health and safety requirements
• Work independently and as part of a team

Essential Criteria:

• Previous experience as a Bricklayer
• Relevant Bricklaying qualification
• Experience carrying out brickwork repairs and maintenance
• Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
• Strongunderstanding of health and safety regulations
