We are partnered with a specialist technology company in Champaign, Illinois, developing infrastructure and processing products used across broadcast, live production, and media environments worldwide.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Broadcast Support Engineer to join their customer support team, acting as a key technical contact for customers and helping to resolve complex product and system issues across a range of broadcast technologies.

In this Broadcast Support Engineer role, you will:

  • Support customers with product setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and technical enquiries
  • Investigate and diagnose hardware, software, networking, and system-level issues through to resolution
  • Create technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and support materials to improve future issue resolution
  • Escalate more complex technical problems where required, while maintaining ownership of customer issues

The ideal Broadcast Support Engineer will have:

  • Experience supporting broadcast, media, live production, or video technology systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills across hardware, software, and networked environments
  • An understanding of broadcast workflows, signal processing, video transport, or IP-based media systems
  • Experience working directly with customers in a technical support, applications, or engineering capacity
