Folio Consult is recruiting on behalf of one of its clients for a Broker Support Administrator to join a fast-growing specialist property finance brokerage.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys administration, working with numbers, and delivering excellent customer service. You’ll play a key role in supporting brokers throughout the lending process, helping to ensure applications are accurate, compliant, and progress efficiently from enquiry through to completion.
Working alongside experienced brokers, you’ll gain exposure to specialist property finance, including bridging loans, development finance, mortgages and investment lending, while building valuable industry knowledge.
The Role
As Broker Support Administrator, you’ll provide administrative and analytical support to the brokerage team, ensuring applications are processed efficiently and clients receive a professional service throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting brokers with the dayto-day administration of finance applications.
- Onboarding new clients and gathering the information required to progress enquiries.
- Acting as the first point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication by phone and email.
- Collecting, reviewing and organising client documentation.
- Preparing application packs and ensuring information is accurate and complete before submission.
- Liaising with lenders, solicitors, valuers and other third parties to obtain updates and documentation.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and ensuring files remain compliant.
- Assisting brokers with research, data gathering and financial analysis where required.
- Monitoring application progress and helping identify potential issues before they delay completion.
- Providing general administrative support to the brokerage team.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is organised, numerically confident and enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
You’ll ideally have experience in an administrative, financial services or property-related role, although candidates from other professional office environments will also be considered.
You’ll also have:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong numerical literacy and confidence working with financial information.
- Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and CRM systems.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
- The ability to prioritise multiple activities and work effectively under pressure.
- Confidence building relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
- Experience within mortgages, specialist lending, banking, financial services or property is advantageous but not essential.
