A welcoming and inclusive school in Greenwich is seeking a skilled BSL Teaching Assistant to support students with hearing impairments. Role Overview:
- Provide in-class support to students who are deaf or have hearing loss
- Use BSL to facilitate communication between students and teachers
- Work 1:1 or in small groups to deliver targeted learning interventions
- Support students’ social and emotional development
- Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in BSL (British Sign Language)
- Experience supporting children or young people with hearing impairments
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- A positive, flexible approach and genuine passion for inclusive education
- Competitive daily rate of £110-£130 (depending on experience/qualification level)
