We are working with a Further Education college in Tower Hamlets seeking a confident and enthusiastic Business Lecturer to teach and assess BTEC Business programmes from Level 1–3.
The Role
- Deliver engaging BTEC Business lessons to 14–19 and adult learners
- Plan, teach and assess across BTEC/RQF Business programmes
- Support students with progress, achievement and progression
- Provide tutorial and personal tutor support
- Monitor attendance, progress and achievement
- Provide effective feedback and maintain accurate assessment records
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance
- Promote an inclusive, supportive and safeguarding-focused learning environment
- Recent BTEC Business teaching experience – essential
- Experience teaching Business within the BTEC/RQF framework
- Experience working with 14–19 learners, ideally within Further Education
- Relevant Degree or equivalent qualification
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DET or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of assessment and student progress
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
