An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Class 2F Registered Building Inspector to join a busy Local Authority Building Control team in North London on a long-term rolling contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-established team, managing a varied caseload of residential and commercial developments while ensuring compliance with the Building Regulations and maintaining the highest standards of public safety.
The Role
·Carry out site inspections across a range of building projects.
·Assess plans and applications for compliance with Building Regulations.
·Provide technical advice and guidance to applicants, developers and internal stakeholders.
·Support the delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused Building Control service.
·Ensure work is carried out in accordance with current legislation and Building Safety Regulator requirements.
Requirements
·Registered Building Inspector - Class 2F
·Proven Building Control experience within a Local Authority or Registered Building Control Approver.
·Strong technical knowledge of Building Regulations and associated legislation.
·Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
·Full UK driving licence is desirable.
