Receptionist/Building Manager

MAIN JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for ensuring a welcoming and productive environment for clients and guests. This role involves front-of-house duties, community engagement, and operational support to ensure the smooth running of the workspace.

KEY TASKS-DAY to DAY Front Desk Support:

o Greet and assist clients and visitors to the building, creating a warm and professional atmosphere.

o Handle client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide general support.

o Manage non-technical queries from customers regarding the space. Community Engagement & Events:

o Foster a sense of community by building positive rapport with clients and visitors.

o Plan and assist with networking events, workshops, and social gatherings.

o Source of information for the local area and location-related questions. Operations & Space Management:

o Ensure the coworking space is clean, organized, and well-maintained.

o Monitor supplies, reorder stock, and liaise with the operational team over technical difficulties that need reporting to vendors.

o Assist with room bookings, desk allocations and checking customers in and out of the space.

o To aid in the adherence to on-site rules and terms and conditions of the site in person, and report back on any infringements by customers.

o Fire marshal in case of emergency for Orbit Spaces customers. Sales & Membership Growth:

o Conduct tours for prospective members and explain membership options.

o Assist with onboarding new members, ensuring a smooth transition into the space.

o Support marketing efforts by promoting services and events within the space and encouraging member participation.

o Engage with Members seeking to upgrade or service notice on their membership to encourage customer retention.
