📍Location: Cambridge

💷Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

⏰Working hours: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm and 1 in 5 Saturdays 8am-5pm

Are you a skilled Maintenance Operative looking to make a difference? Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team, responsible for maintaining student accommodation in the heart of Cambridge. 🏢✨

Responsibilities:

• Conducting high-quality repair and maintenance work, including plumbing, joinery, electrical tasks, and painting. 🛠️
• Handling reactive maintenance jobs promptly and to a high standard.
• Providing outstanding customer service and liaising effectively with colleagues and management.
• Monitoring onsite contractors to ensure quality completion of work.
• Managing both reactive and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Performing scheduled health and safety checks, including fire safety inspections and water hygiene monitoring. 🔥💧
• Conducting regular building patrols to identify maintenance needs and health risks.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.

Key Requirements:

• A comprehensive understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
• Relevant qualifications in plumbing, joinery, or electrical systems are preferred.
• Previous experience in domestic electrical/plumbing/general maintenance.
• Ability to effectively prioritise workloads.
