A leading property developer is looking to recruit an experienced Building Services Manager to join the team delivering a landmark £300 million mixed-use development in Bristol.

Working as part of the project delivery team, you will take responsibility for overseeing the installation, coordination and commissioning of all mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) services, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

• Managing the delivery of all mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) works on site
• Coordinating specialist subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team to ensure successful installation of building services
• Monitoring progress against programme, quality standards and project milestones
• Reviewing technical drawings and specifications to ensure works are delivered in accordance with the design
• Identifying and resolving technical issues while maintaining programme and quality objectives
• Managing commissioning, testing and handover of all building services systems
• Ensuring all works comply with Building Regulations, health & safety legislation and project specifications
• Working closely with construction, design and commercial teams to support the successful delivery of the project

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Building Services Manager on major construction projects
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) building services
• Experience working for a main contractor, developer or specialist MEP contractor
• Good understanding of commissioning, testing and handover processes
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and coordinate complex building services installations
• HNC, HND or Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience)
