An established multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy is seeking a Building Surveyor to join its growing London team. The RoleAs a Building Surveyor, you will be involved in delivering a broad range of surveying services, including:
- Contract administration and project management.
- Dilapidations (acting for both landlords and tenants).
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes.
- Technical due diligence and acquisition surveys.
- Building pathology investigations.
- Defect diagnosis and reporting.
- Condition surveys and asset management advice.
- Refurbishment and alteration projects.
- Party Wall matters (desirable but not essential).
- Supporting clients with statutory compliance and building safety requirements.
Projects span a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, industrial and public sector estates.
Candidate Requirements- Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
- Working towards or already holding MRICS status (preferred but not essential).
- Previous consultancy experience delivering both professional and project work.
- Good knowledge of current UK Building Regulations and construction methods.
- Strong report writing and communication skills.
- Excellent client-facing abilities with a proactive approach to service delivery.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Full UK driving licence is advantageous.
