Building Surveyor

Are you an ambitious Building Surveyor currently working towards your APC and looking for the next step in your career?

Conrad Consulting is working with a highly respected property and building consultancy that is looking to strengthen its London team with an APC-level Building Surveyor.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established surveying team and gain exposure to a broad range of building surveying projects across London, while receiving the support and mentoring required to progress towards chartership.

You will work alongside experienced Chartered Building Surveyors, developing your technical and professional skills across a varied workload including:

• Building surveys and technical due diligence
• Planned and reactive maintenance
• Defect diagnosis and building pathology
• Preparation of specifications and schedules of work
• Contract administration
• Project management of refurbishment and improvement works
• Party wall and dilapidations work
• Supporting senior surveyors on larger projects
• Client meetings and site inspections

We are keen to hear from APC Building Surveyors / Assistant Building Surveyors who are looking to progress their career within a supportive and technically strong consultancy.

You should ideally have:

• A relevant degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
• Experience working within a building surveying consultancy
• Progress towards MRICS qualification 
• Good technical knowledge of buildings and construction
• Experience with surveys, specifications and contract administration
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A genuine ambition to achieve Chartered status
