Are you an experienced Building Surveyor looking for a role with variety, progression and the chance to work on interesting projects?

We’re looking for a Building Surveyor to join a growing consultancy in Hull, working across a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, education, healthcare and public-sector projects.

You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, build strong client relationships and develop your technical expertise.

What you’ll be doing

• Carrying out building surveys, inspections and condition assessments

• Producing clear, professional reports and schedules of works

• Investigating defects and providing practical technical advice

• Preparing specifications and contract documentation

• Supporting project management and contract administration

• Working closely with clients, contractors and design teams

• Managing your own workload and delivering projects to deadlines

What we’re looking for

• Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related subject

• Previous UK building surveying experience

• Good knowledge of construction, defects and building pathology

• Strong report writing and technical skills

• Confident communicating with clients and project teams

• RICS qualified or working towards chartership is desirable
