I’m working with a growing independent building consultancy that is making a key hire as part of its long-term expansion plans.

You’ll take ownership of a strong pipeline of major works projects, predominantly across central London, with genuine freedom to manage your own workload and influence how the business develops.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver major works from instruction through to completion
• Prepare specifications and act as Contract Administrator
• Manage external and communal refurbishment projects
• Work across fire-door replacements, roofing and cyclical works
• Carry out damp surveys, inspections and drone surveys
• Build strong relationships with repeat residential clients

What we’re looking for

• 2-3+ years’ Building Surveying experience
• Strong Contract Administration and specification experience
• Residential refurbishment or major works background
• Comfortable running projects independently
• Confident dealing directly with clients and contractors
• MRICS welcomed but not essential

Experience in Party Wall, expert witness or HomeBuyer work would be useful, but definitely not a requirement.

Package

• £45,000 - £60,000 basic salary
• £5,000 car allowance
• Performance-related bonus
• 25 days’ holiday
