Certain Advantage are recruiting on behalf of our consulting client for a Business Analyst on a contract outside IR35 for 11 Months. Please read further before applying.

Due to the requirement for CTC Clearance the start date is expected to be Sep-Oct to allow for the expect 6-8 week process.
Remote with occasional office visits to Surrey.
You’ll have ownership of business and functional requirement capture and lifecycle traceability management in one or more mobilisation streams. The role will work directly with key stakeholders within the Client unit, external supply chain and technical teams.
The role will ensure the detail captured enables smooth transition to BAU on exit of mobilisation.
Responsibilities
- Support the Process & Data Change Manager ensuring contractual requirements are individually captured, coded and MOSCOW’ed in a requirements catalogue.
- Take the lead with client stakeholders to ensure all requirement clarifications are resolved with the client to ensure requirements can be delivered, deferred or removed.
- Defining detailed process flow diagrams, either as controlled amendments to current flows, or creation of new flows, to support client requirements for transactional service delivery
- Assisting in ensuring supporting data dictionary is defined and controlled, which supports the flows and functional requirements
- Functional requirements documentation throughout lifecycle, ensuring traceability back to the requirements catalogue
- Requirements traceability during development, working with developers to ensure all technical developments are demonstrable results of business and functional requirements
- Requirements traceability during testing, working with the test team to ensure test coverage provides demonstrable results of business and functional requirements that can be accepted by client
- Requirements handover to BAU teams upon exit of hypercare, ensuring all artefacts are transitioned to configuration and live support.
- You’ll also support the Manager in providing inputs into Quality Readiness Gateways where requirements and functional outputs are critical to the gateway exit criteria.
Experience Requirements
- Experience of working on large-scale multi-organisational mobilisation Programmes
- Experience of developing complex contractual requirements into a traceable catalogue and managing requirements though design, development and test phases
- Experience of managing client workshops and resolving requirements ambiguity/gaps
- Experience of delivering client-side and supplier-side in the public sector arena
- Experience of working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
- Basic understanding of SQL database software (CAFM like MRI Evolution ideal but not essential)
- Experience of MS Visio to create and maintain complex transactional flows
