About the Role

Our client is looking for a Business Development Assistant to join their Brighton team, supporting face-to-face customer acquisition and business development activity across events, pop-ups, retail environments, and local campaigns.

You’ll speak directly with customers, identify new opportunities, introduce products and services, and help build strong relationships that support business growth.

Previous experience is not essential, with full training and ongoing coaching provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers and potential new clients face-to-face

  • Identify new customer and business opportunities

  • Introduce products and services confidently

  • Ask questions to understand customer requirements

  • Build and maintain positive relationships

  • Deliver professional sales presentations

  • Generate new enquiries and opportunities

  • Follow up with interested customers

  • Work towards individual and team targets

  • Support customer acquisition campaigns

  • Represent clients professionally at all times

Training & Progression

Training will cover business development, sales, communication, customer engagement, relationship building, and product knowledge.

As you develop, you can progress into Business Development Executive, Senior Business Development Assistant, Team Leader, Campaign Manager, and management roles.
