Business Development Executive in Saint Ives, Cambridgeshire

We’re seeking a driven and customer-focused Business Development Specialist to joining our growing established client based in St Ives, on a full time permanent basis working Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00pm.

As a Business Development Specialist you’ll play an important role in growing the department, delivering a first-class customer experience and overseeing projects from the initial enquiry through to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities for the Business Development Specialist include:-

• Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and developing lasting customer relationships.
• Deliver a high standard of service, providing knowledgeable support and guidance throughout the sales process.
• Manage incoming enquiries across telephone, email and face-to-face channels, ensuring timely and professional responses.
• Prepare detailed quotations, manage pricing and process sales orders with accuracy and efficiency.
• Oversee projects, coordinating with customers, suppliers and installation teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Organise site visits, measurements and customer consultations to establish project requirements.
• Maintain regular communication with all parties, resolving queries and keeping projects on track.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the department by identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve the customer journey.
