We're recruiting on behalf of a highly respected membership organisation that represents and supports some of the UK's most successful businesses. Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive to join their friendly, collaborative team.

This is a varied, people-focused role where you'll help grow membership by building relationships with prospective members and guiding them through the joining process.

You'll be responsible for:
  • Contacting and engaging with prospective members via phone, email and networking opportunities.
  • Understanding each organisation's needs and demonstrating the value of becoming a member.
  • Managing the full membership journey from initial enquiry through to joining.
  • Building strong, long-term relationships with business leaders and decision makers.
  • Maintaining accurate records using the CRM system.
  • Working closely with the marketing and events teams to maximise opportunities and deliver an outstanding member experience.
  • Supporting projects that improve processes and enhance member engagement.

You'll also have:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence speaking with senior stakeholders and decision makers.
  • A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • Experience using CRM systems would be beneficial, although not essential.
