Are you a Business Development Manager or similar with a background in construction or structural steelwork looking for a varied sales role where you will head up the sales for longstanding and successful manufacturer and steelwork installation specialists?
Do you want a new hybrid role where you will manage your own diary, covering a northern patch and benefit from a huge database of existing clients as well as benefit from onboarding new business?

This leading company has operated for over 50 years and specialises in providing structural steelwork across the UK and work on an exiting range of commercial, residential and industrial projects. With a huge pipeline of clients and the opportunity to onboard new business, they provide an opportunity to be greatly successful and enhance your career.

In this role you will cover a territory across the Midlands and the North of England, following up on enquiries, developing relationships and winning new business. You will require experience selling and tendering structural steel, onboarding existing clients from previous roles will put you at an advantage.

This role would suit a Salesperson from a structural steel or construction background, looking to progress their career into a senior role where you head up the northern sales operation.

The Role

• Manage a sales territory across the Midlands and the North of England.
• Develop existing accounts while generating new business opportunities.
• Visit new and existing clients to build long-term relationships.
• Prepare sales plans and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.

The Person

• Sales Manager or similar
• Structural steel or related construction background
• Full UK driving license
