Business Development Manager

I am looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to find new clients for Recruitment Services.

This is a pure business development role. You will not be involved in recruiting or placing candidates — our internal team handles all delivery. Your sole focus is winning new client contracts for the agency.

This is a results-based opportunity. Your earnings reflect the value you bring to the business — the more contracts you secure, the more you earn. There is no cap.

Commission: Uncapped, paid on every new contract signed — recurring on volume placed

Realistic OTE: £35,000 – £50,000+ depending on activity and pipeline conversion

Performance reviews: Base salary increases tied to consistent delivery

Responsibilities

Identify and approach potential clients in target sectors

Pitch Everson Recruitment's staffing services and close new contracts

Build relationships with decision-makers, HR managers, and operations leads

Represent Everson Recruitment at networking events and client meetings

Develop and manage a sales pipeline with consistent follow-up

Report new business activity and wins to the Operational Manager

Hand over signed accounts to the internal recruitment team

Requirements

Proven track record in B2B sales, business development, or account management

Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills

Self-motivated, target-driven, comfortable working independently

Knowledge of the UK recruitment or staffing industry (advantage)

Valid UK driving licence (preferred)

Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office

Nice to Have

Existing network in Food Production, Cleaning, or Logistics

Experience selling to industrial or warehouse operations

Familiarity with the recruitment industry
