Business Development Manager
Get Staffed
Our client operates within the electrical contracting and property services sector and is looking for someone who can help drive business growth by opening new doors, building commercial relationships and creating opportunities for the company to quote for new work.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and professional individual who understands how trade-based businesses operate and can confidently engage with commercial customers, landlords, letting agents, property managers, facilities managers, contractors and other business decision makers.
The Role
As Business Development Manager, your main responsibility will be to create new commercial opportunities for the business.

Once an opportunity has been identified, you will introduce the customer to the business so that the appropriate technical or commercial person can attend, assess the requirement and provide a quotation.
This role is not about personally quoting or delivering the works. It is about opening doors, qualifying opportunities, developing relationships and making sure the business is introduced to the right customers at the right time.

- Gathering key information from prospects so the internal team can assess, quote and follow up opportunities properly.
- Maintaining a pipeline of leads, opportunities, tenders and follow-up actions.
- Following up with prospects after introductions, site visits and submitted quotations.
