The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in driving the company's continued growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities.
You'll be responsible for developing relationships with prospective clients, understanding their business challenges, and recommending tailored IT solutions that add real value.
This is a proactive sales role where you'll generate your own pipeline through outbound activity including cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and referrals.

Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound sales activity
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline from prospect to close
- Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities
- Develop relationships with senior decision-makers across a range of industries
- Conduct consultative sales meetings to understand client requirements
- Present tailored IT solutions including cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, and managed services
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
- Work closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure a seamless customer onboarding experience
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in B2B sales, business development, lead generation, or IT sales
- Confident making outbound calls and generating new business
- An excellent communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Commercially minded, target-driven, and motivated by success
- Organised with strong time management and attention to detail
- Comfortable using CRM systems and sales technology
- Ambitious, resilient, and keen to develop a long-term career within the IT industry
Previous experience selling IT solutions is advantageous but not essential. Above all, we're looking for someone with the drive, determination, and hunger to win new business.
