Business Development Manager – Recruitment

Location: Aberdeen / North East Scotland
Working Pattern: Remote / Field Based
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000+ DOE + Commission

The Opportunity

Paradigm Employment Services are recruiting an experienced Recruitment Business Development Manager to develop and grow an established recruitment business across Aberdeen and North East Scotland.

This is a permanent, employed opportunity for someone who already understands the recruitment industry and knows how to identify opportunities, open new accounts and turn client relationships into sustainable recruitment revenue.

The position is remote/field based, giving you autonomy to develop your territory while being supported by an established recruitment and candidate delivery operation.

The Role

You'll take responsibility for developing new recruitment business across the region, targeting organisations with temporary, contract and permanent staffing requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and winning new recruitment clients across Aberdeen and North East Scotland.
• Proactively prospecting through telephone, LinkedIn, networking, referrals and face-to-face meetings.
• Building relationships with HR, Operations, Site Managers, business owners and other key decision-makers.
• Understanding clients' workforce challenges and identifying recruitment opportunities.
• Arranging and attending client meetings.
• Negotiating commercial terms and converting prospects into active accounts.
• Developing a strong pipeline of new and future business.
• Growing existing relationships and identifying additional revenue opportunities.
• Working closely with the recruitment/delivery team to successfully fulfil new vacancies.
• Maintaining accurate client, vacancy and pipeline information through the CRM.
• Developing your own profile and network throughout the North East Scotland market.

What We're Looking For

Previous recruitment industry experience is essential for this position.

We're particularly interested in people with experience within recruitment sectors such as:

Industrial | Manufacturing | Engineering | Production | Agriculture | Farming | Logistics | Warehousing | Construction | Trades & Labour or related markets

You may currently be working as a:

Recruitment Business Development Manager | 360 Recruitment Consultant | Senior Recruitment Consultant | Recruitment Account Manager | Recruitment Branch Manager

You'll need to demonstrate:

• A successful track record within recruitment.
• Strong new-business development skills.
• Confidence making outbound approaches and opening new accounts.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of recruitment margins and client requirements.
• Strong client relationship and account-development skills.
• Knowledge of the Aberdeen / North East Scotland business market would be highly advantageous.
• An existing local client/contact network would be a significant advantage.
• The motivation and discipline to work successfully in a remote role.

Location

This is a remote/field-based position covering Aberdeen and the wider North East Scotland region.

You will have the flexibility to work from home while developing relationships and attending client meetings throughout your territory.
