Crawley / Remote · Permanent · Remote working
You're someone who enjoys winning new business, spotting commercial opportunities and building something from the ground up.
We're looking for a commercially driven individual to take ownership of a brand-new CAD printing division within an established business operating in the print and graphics industry.
This is a genuine opportunity to put your own stamp on something, developing the customer base, building relationships with suppliers and shaping the direction of the division as it grows.
You'll need to be proactive, ambitious and comfortable getting stuck into the day-to-day sales activity, rather than simply managing things from a distance.
Your experienceIdeally, you'll have a strong background in B2B sales, business development or commercial management, with a proven ability to generate new business and build long-term customer relationships.
Experience within CAD printing, wide-format print equipment, reprographics or technical product sales would certainly be useful, but it isn't essential.
We're equally interested in speaking with people from outside the industry who have a strong commercial track record and can demonstrate their ability to develop new markets or revenue streams.
You'll understand what it takes to grow a profitable business, from identifying opportunities and winning customers through to managing pricing, margins and supplier relationships.
You might already be managing a sales team or commercial division, or you could be a successful Business Development Manager looking for the opportunity to take that next step.
What you'll be doingYou'll be responsible for launching and growing a new division focused on supplying CAD printing equipment, media and associated products to customers across the UK.
A big part of the role will be identifying new business opportunities, particularly within the architectural, engineering, construction and technical printing markets.
You'll be developing customer relationships, generating sales and working closely with manufacturers and suppliers to build a competitive product offering.
There will also be a focus on developing sales through the company's website, telephone sales and marketing activities, alongside identifying opportunities to expand the product range.
As the division grows, you'll have the opportunity to build your own team and take on further responsibility for its long-term development.
About the businessYou'll be joining an established and successful business within the print and graphics industry, with an existing customer base, infrastructure and resources to support the launch of this new division.
They're looking to develop CAD printing as a significant new revenue stream, with ambitious plans for growth over the coming years.
What makes this opportunity particularly interesting is the level of ownership available. You'll have the backing of an established business, but the freedom to help shape something new.
The role is based in Crawley, West Sussex, although remote working could be considered for the right individual.
There's flexibility around salary depending on your experience and what you can bring to the business, alongside a quarterly profit-sharing scheme and additional benefits.
Next stepsIf you're a commercially driven individual who enjoys developing new business and likes the idea of building a division from the ground up, we'd love to have a chat.
You don't necessarily need to come from the CAD printing industry. What's more important is your ability to win business, identify opportunities and drive commercial growth.
Whether you're an experienced commercial manager or a successful salesperson ready for more responsibility, we'd be interested in hearing from you.
