We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Used Van Business Manager position at their dealership in Chipping Sodbury. The Used Van Business Manager will play a vital role in supporting the sales team and ensuring excellent customer service in a rapidly expanding company.   • Salary ranging from £30,000 to £50,000 basic, dependent on experience
  • Uncapped earning potential, with bonus earnings typically between £2,000 and £5,000 per month

Duties of a Business Manager:
  • Qualify customers and gather necessary information and documentation
  • Submit and progress finance applications, ensuring timely approvals
  • Manage lender requirements and maintain strong lender relationships
  • Maximise finance approvals, penetration rates, and sales conversions
  • Monitor applications through to payout, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Oversee finance performance and associated commission
  • Ensure compliance with FCA guidelines, Consumer Duty, and delivering good customer outcomes
  • Support sales staff by assisting with the sale of finance, insurance, warranties, and additional products
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to support dealership targets
Requirements of a Business Manager:
  • Extensive recent experience as a Business Manager or similar role within an automotive dealership
  • Strong knowledge of FCA guidelines and industry standards
  • Proven ability to build and maintain excellent customer relationships
  • Commitment to delivering results and driving business growth
  • Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Proximity to Chipping Sodbury or reasonable commuting distance
  • Stability in previous employment and a professional approach to career development
  • Good understanding of car sales, finance, and insurance processes
