Duties of the Business Manager:
  • Build and present car sales finance deals to customers following qualification from the sales team
  • Ensure compliance with all financial and insurance product regulations, providing accurate information
  • Establish rapport quickly and effectively with customers, treating customers fairly
  • Monitor finance performance against targets and identify areas for improvement
  • Work closely with management to coach and develop team skills to meet business objectives
  • Log activities accurately to monitor performance and measure outcomes
  • Maintain a strong brand focus and work independently to maximise sales opportunities
  • Manage time effectively, including occasional late finishes up to 7:00pm during business demand
  • Uphold FCA accreditation standards and demonstrate comprehensive understanding of financial legislation
  • Build lasting customer relationships, fostering loyalty and repeat business
  • Maintain a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Requirements of the Business Manager:
  • Proven experience as a Business Manager or Sales Controller within a franchise-approved dealership
  • FCA accreditation and sound knowledge of financial legislation
  • Strong leadership skills and a results-driven attitude
  • Excellent customer relationship skills and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Dedication to delivering high standards of service and compliance
  • Valid UK driving licence with no or minimal points
