TeacherActive is proud to be working with an Outstanding primary academy in South Ockendon to recruit an experienced School Business Manager on a permanent, full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving school that is committed to delivering the highest standards of education while providing a supportive and collaborative working environment.

The successful School Business Manager will provide strategic leadership across all business functions of the academy, including finance, HR, ICT, administration, catering, premises and operational services. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Governors and the wider Trust, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the school and ensuring high-quality systems are in place to support outstanding teaching and learning.

The successful School Business Manager will have:

• Previous experience working as a School Business Manager or within a senior school business support role
• Strong knowledge of school finance, budgeting and financial management
• Experience overseeing HR, ICT, administration, premises and operational services
• Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills
• The ability to contribute strategically alongside Senior Leaders and Governors
• A genuine passion for education and supporting positive outcomes for children
