Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Business Studies Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity within a successful Sixth Form environment?

We are currently recruiting for a talented Business Studies KS5 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school with a thriving Sixth Form in Perry Barr, Birmingham. This is a full-time, long-term position starting at the beginning of the new academic year in September 2026, with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.

Ideally, the school is looking for an experienced Teacher; however, applications from ECTs are welcome also.

The Role

  • Teaching Business Studies at Key Stage 5 within a successful Sixth Form setting
  • Planning and delivering engaging, challenging and innovative lessons
  • Preparing students for A-Level Business examinations and further study
  • Supporting students in developing commercial awareness, analytical skills and business acumen
  • Monitoring, assessing and tracking student progress to ensure strong outcomes
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages achievement
  • Contributing to the continued success of the Business and Economics department

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching Business Studies within a secondary school setting
  • Has the ability and confidence to teach Business Studies at KS5
  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for business education
  • Possesses strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Is committed to raising standards and supporting student success
  • Has a positive, proactive and professional approach to teaching and learning
  • ECTs are encouraged to apply
