We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Officer to join a busy and fast-paced transformation team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting projects, coordinating activities, and ensuring the smooth delivery of business priorities.

The Role
As a Business Support Officer, you'll provide high-quality administrative, project, and operational support to managers and teams, helping to drive efficiency and ensure key initiatives remain on track.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the coordination and delivery of business improvement and transformation projects.
- Maintaining project documentation, action trackers, risk logs and project records.
- Organising meetings, preparing agendas and supporting papers, taking minutes and tracking actions through to completion.
- Producing reports, dashboards, presentations and management information for stakeholders.
- Managing shared mailboxes, responding to enquiries and coordinating diaries and meetings.
- Processing purchase orders and invoices and supporting general administrative activities.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Acting as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting the preparation of business updates, reports and governance documentation.
- Working across multiple workstreams, ensuring deadlines and priorities are effectively managed.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
We're looking for someone who is organised, adaptable and eager to contribute to a busy team environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous administration, business support, project support or coordination experience.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence communicating with a broad range of stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams.
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
While not essential, experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- Project administration or project support environments.
- Business improvement or transformation initiatives.
- Working within large, complex organisations.
- Producing management reports, presentations and governance documentation.
