Business Systems Manager
Quantum Design Oxford, Tubney is looking for a Business Systems Manager to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the business systems that support our engineering projects, operations processes and decision-making.
Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a key management role responsible for ensuring our information technology and business systems operate efficiently, securely and in line with business goals. The successful candidate will help shape how information flows across the organisation, improving data integrity, process discipline and access to accurate management information.
The role
As Business Systems Manager, you will define, implement and maintain systems across areas such as PLM, ERP and CRM, supporting sales, engineering and operations from opportunity assessment through to production scheduling, resource allocation, capacity planning and output forecasting.
You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to identify requirements, streamline processes, reduce duplication, support system implementations and provide clear dashboards and visual management information. You will also lead and support the Business Systems and IT teams, ensuring effective day-to-day support, infrastructure reliability, cyber and data security, and continuous system improvement.
About you
You will bring a degree or significant experience in Business Systems Management, together with a strong understanding of business systems, database design, policies and procedures. Experience with SQL, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project would be valuable, as would knowledge of lean methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping, Kanban and One Piece Flow.
