Business Travel Consultant - Out of Hours

Are you an experienced Business Travel Consultant looking for a flexible role with a much lighter workload than a busy daytime travel desk?

This is a rare opportunity to join a friendly, independent Travel Management Company, providing out-of-hours support on just two fixed nights per week.

The role involves managing any evening travel requests before moving into an overnight emergency support service. Most nights are very quiet, with long periods of downtime once any initial work has been completed.

Business Travel Consultant Role

• Providing out-of-hours support for corporate travel clients.
• Handling evening travel requests and overnight emergency assistance.
• Managing urgent flight changes, reissues, hotels and car hire.
• Resolving urgent travel issues quickly and professionally.

Business Travel Consultant Working Pattern

• Monday & Tuesday nights.
• 5:00pm - 9:30am.
• Fully home-based.
• Plus four planned weeks each year covering annual leave, working five nights instead of two during those weeks (dates agreed well in advance).

Business Travel Consultant Salary & Benefits

• £15 per hour.
• Additional £25 payment for any emergency work carried out between midnight and 4am.
• Permanent contract.
• Friendly, supportive team.
• Low-volume workload with plenty of downtime on most shifts (sleeping is permitted during quiet periods, provided you remain available to respond to any urgent enquiries).
