Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Buyer in the Aftermarket Department. Your proactive approach will help ensure timely procurement, optimal inventory levels, and strong supplier relationships.

Duties

• Assist in evaluating supplier options and conducting negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Logistics, and Supply Chain to understand procurement needs
• Utilize ERP systems like SAP to process purchase orders and track inventory levels
• Support the management of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier communications
• Monitor logistics processes to coordinate transportation and delivery schedules effectively
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement process to optimize efficiency

Requirements

• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with suppliers
• Knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, and merchandising practices
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Prior experience or familiarity with procurement or purchasing roles
