Are you a Procurement professional with experience in Manufacturing, looking to join a well-established business where you will have a direct impact on purchasing decisions, supplier relationships and production efficiency?

Do you have experience sourcing components, managing suppliers and controlling purchasing costs, looking for a varied role within a specialist electronics manufacturer offering hybrid working and an early Friday finish?

The company are an electronics manufacturing business with over five decades of experience delivering specialist electronic manufacturing services.

The company operates within the high-technology sector, providing small-to-medium batch manufacturing services including PCB assembly, cable assemblies, box builds and electronic testing.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Purchasing professional to join a specialist electronics manufacturer where you will take responsibility for sourcing materials and managing supplier relationships.

The Role:

• Manage purchasing activities across a small-to-medium batch manufacturing environment
• Source and procure materials, components and supplies required for production
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing and availability
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing, lead times and purchasing terms
• Support the preparation of purchasing quotations and material cost estimates
• Liaise with Production and Engineering teams to understand material requirements

The Person:

• Background in Procurement
• Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
