Murphy is recruiting for Buyer to work with the Energy Team on the SSE ASTI Framework.

A day in the life of a Murphy Buyer:
- Provide an effective and professional service in the procurement of sub-contractors and materials.
- Work as part of a procurement team supporting the project.
- Provide best value procurement solutions for the project.
- Procurement of materials and subcontracts covering; production and management of the procurement schedule, development of supplier enquiry documents in conjunction with project teams. Carry out commercial assessments and award recommendations.
- Advise on the project's supply chain management activities, including structuring the supply chain and carrying out performance and relationship management to identify opportunities for improved performance and cost efficiencies.
- Contribute to activities that encourage efficient, productive and continuously improving supply chain performance.
- Take part in group procurement functional goals and objectives within the region.
- Continuously identify and review new supply chain members to meet project demand.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships across the supply chain, encouraging inclusive collaboration, knowledge sharing and mutual respect.
