What can I expect?
Buying is about far more than negotiating the best price.
It's about spotting the next trend, building strong supplier relationships and creating ranges that customers genuinely want to buy.
If you're someone who enjoys discovering new products, working with suppliers and seeing your decisions come to life on the shop floor, this could be a great opportunity.
You'll take ownership of your own product categories, working closely with suppliers and colleagues to build commercially successful ranges that delight customers and deliver strong results.
It's a role that offers plenty of variety, autonomy and the chance to make a genuine impact in a business where buying sits at the heart of everything they do.
About the job
As a Buyer, you'll be responsible for sourcing, developing and managing commercially successful product ranges across a portfolio of categories.
Working closely with suppliers, internal teams and senior colleagues, you'll ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time, while balancing quality, availability and profitability.
Negotiating prices, trading terms, lead times and promotional opportunities will of course play a part too, as will monitoring product performance and using sales data to maximise profitability.
This is a role for someone who enjoys balancing creativity with commercial thinking and takes pride in delivering products that customers love.
The company
They've built their reputation through strong supplier partnerships, quality products and a genuine passion for delivering a great customer experience.
Despite their continued growth, they've maintained a collaborative, down-to-earth culture where people are trusted to make decisions, share ideas and contribute to the success of the business.
Buying plays a central role in that success, making this an opportunity to join a team where your contribution will be genuinely valued.
