š What You'll Be Doing
As a Buying Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Buying and Business Support teams, ensuring information is accurate, up to date, and delivered on time.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
š Maintaining product, pricing, supplier, and promotional information within internal systems
š Supporting supplier administration, including price changes, forecasts, and supply updates
š¢ Assisting with newsletters, promotions, trading documents, and member communications
š Monitoring product performance and maintaining reporting schedules
š¤ Building strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and business members
š Supporting tender processes, contracts, compliance documentation, and approval workflows
š Coordinating travel arrangements, meetings, and key business events
šÆ Providing essential administrative support across a variety of commercial projects
No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and taking ownership of their workload in an administration focused role.
š What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
āļø At least 2 years' commercial administration experience
āļø Strong organisational and time-management skills
āļø Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
āļø Confidence using Microsoft Office applications
āļø Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels
āļø A proactive, positive, and flexible approach to work
āļø A full, clean UK driving licence
Experience within buying, procurement, wholesale, retail, or commercial support environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
