Join a fast‑moving engineering team building next‑generation UAV and autonomous drone platforms. We’re looking for a UAV Software Engineer with deep C/C++, embedded systems expertise, and a passion for real hardware, real aircraft, and real‑world mission systems.
This is a hands‑on role where your code directly shapes flight behaviour, autonomy, safety, and system performance.
What You’ll Work On

Develop and optimise embedded C/C++ software for UAV flight controllers and onboard systems.

Integrate sensors, radios, navigation modules, and mission‑critical components.

Work with RTOS, bare‑metal environments, and microcontroller‑level programming.

Implement control algorithms, safety logic, and real‑time data processing.

Support simulation, hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing, and live flight trials.

Collaborate with avionics, hardware, and systems engineers to deliver robust airborne capability.
Essential Skills & Experience
-
Strong commercial experience in embedded C/C++ development.

Solid understanding of microcontrollers, low‑level programming, and hardware interfaces.

Experience with RTOS, bare‑metal systems, or real‑time embedded environments.

Familiarity with protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, DroneCAN.

Ability to debug embedded systems using oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and similar tools.

Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in fast‑paced engineering teams.
Desirable Extras

Experience with UAVs, drones, robotics, or autonomous systems.

Knowledge of PX4, ArduPilot, or custom flight‑control stacks.

Understanding of control theory, sensor fusion, navigation, or flight dynamics.

Exposure to ARM‑based architectures, embedded Linux, or high‑performance avionics.
