Remuneration: £30,000 - £40,000 + Discretionary Bonus

The role of the CAD Designer – Fit-Out & Storage Solutions will involve:

• CAD Designer position, working on multiple racking, mezzanine floors and office fit-out projects for the industrial & commercial market sector
• Use AutoCAD to produce detailed technical drawings from client brief and project specifications
• Work closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams to develop practical and commercially viable design solutions
• Work on projects from initial concept through to manufacture, ensuring designs meet customer requirements and production capabilities
• Liaise with production and operational teams to resolve technical queries and ensure the successful delivery of projects
• Maintain accurate project documentation, drawings and specifications whilst providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle
• Review and revising drawings in line with client feedback, site surveys and design changes to ensure projects are delivered accurately and efficiently.

The ideal applicant will be a CAD Designer – Commercial Fit-Out & Storage Solutions with: 

• Must have Design experience within the construction industry
• Ideally will have experience with office fit-out, mezzanines or racking & shelving or closely related
• Highly advantageous to have AutoCAD experience
• May be open to a more Junior candidate
• Ideally will degree or relevant construction qualification
• Confident, resilient and articulate
• Strong organisation skills and high attention to detail
• Technical understanding and can interpret drawings
