Are you an experienced CAD Engineer looking to join a leading international provider of fire detection, electronic security and life safety systems?
Our client is an established and growing organisation delivering complex, high-profile projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a talented CAD Engineer to support the design and delivery of specialist fire and electronic security solutions.

The Role
As a CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings and design documentation for a range of electrical, fire and electronic security projects. Working closely with project teams, design engineers and clients, you will ensure all drawings are produced to the highest standards and comply with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed CAD drawings for fire alarm, electronic security and electrical engineering projects.
- Create and amend technical layouts, schematics and installation drawings.
- Work closely with project engineers and design teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure drawings comply with client specifications and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and drawing revisions.
- Support the successful delivery of multiple projects across the UK.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a CAD Engineer, CAD Technician or CAD Designer.
- Strong experience using AutoCAD (Revit experience would also be beneficial).
- Background in electrical engineering, building services or low-voltage systems.
- Experience producing detailed technical drawings for construction or engineering projects.
- Fire alarm or electronic security design experience is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Security Clearance
Due to the sensitive nature of the projects, applicants must be UK Nationals and willing to undergo high-level security screening. Upon successfully obtaining security clearance, an additional £2,000 salary uplift will be applied.
Location
This is a hybrid/home-based position with occasional travel to the company's head office.
