CAD Technician in Hyde, Greater Manchester

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CAD Technician to join a multidisciplinary design team delivering a major programme of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects across the UK water sector.

The position is available on a remote basis and offers an initial 18-month contract, providing long-term project exposure across water and wastewater treatment design.

The role would suit a technically strong CAD professional with experience across Civil 3D, Revit and BIM-led engineering environments.

You'll be involved in:

• Producing technical drawings and design information for water and wastewater projects
• Supporting infrastructure and non-infrastructure treatment schemes
• Working with Civil 3D, Revit and wider CAD/BIM platforms
• Developing and updating drawings throughout project delivery
• Coordinating technical information across multidisciplinary design teams
• Supporting civil and reinforced concrete design information
• Incorporating engineering comments and design changes
• Maintaining accurate drawing and model information
• Supporting BIM-led design and project delivery

• Previous experience as a CAD Technician or similar
• Strong CAD and technical drawing capability
• Experience using Civil 3D and/or Revit
• Understanding of BIM processes and coordinated design environments
• Ability to interpret engineering designs and technical requirements
• Experience producing engineering drawings and project information
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a remote multidisciplinary team

Previous experience across water, wastewater, treatment works or wider civil engineering projects would be particularly beneficial.

• £40-£48 per hour
• Long-term 18-month contract
